Around the World – Fortunato Depero

I realized this video as a multimedial features of a stage performance of the theater company “La corte dei Miracoli“. The performance included lectures of futuristic plays by different authors and the prizegiving to winning competitors in a poetical competition about futurism.

The concept behind the video come to me while watching the  video of the popular dance song “Around the World” by Daft Punk. I thought that combining the paintings and advertisements by futuristc artist Fortunato Depero with this song could be a effective and nice way to explain a little bit of the artist to today people rather that making a boring video with pictures fading staticly into one another.

The video has been projected during the performance on the 18th of June 2009 in the Teatro Civico in Sassari.

Interface with a View – iPhault Workflow

This post is related to Interaction Design – Interface with a View course by Yaniv Steiner at Architecture University in Alghero. The project has been developed together with Barbara Carcangiu.

Italian Version

Starting from four mini iPhone applications developed by our teacher Yaniv Steiner as code trials, we focused on one of these with the intent of adding content and graphics to it.

Me and my colleague Barbara Carcangiu chose to work on the “Magic Card” application, but instead of performing a magical trick, we thought about using it to trick friends.

The flow of our application has now become something like this.

When the iPhone is still on a surface it displays a fake screen image. When it senses a vibration (either somebody touched the surface, or picked it up) it starts to display, frame after frame, a crashing interface, like a virus has crashed the system.
